Advanced Implantology

Implantology is today the most effective, durable and natural solution to replace one or more missing teeth. A dental implant is an artificial root made of biocompatible titanium that is surgically inserted into the upper or lower jawbone, on which a protective crown will then be fixed that looks identical to a natural tooth.

In our studio we use state-of-the-art implants with treated surfaces to promote rapid osseointegration. Thanks to digital planning and, in the most complex cases, computer-guided implantology, every procedure is performed with millimeter precision, minimizing recovery times.

We are able to manage even the most difficult cases, including complete arch rehabilitations (All-on-4/All-on-6 technique) and immediate loading procedures, which allow you to leave the operating room with fixed teeth.

Single, multiple and complete arch rehabilitations
All-on-4 and All-on-6 technique with immediate loading
Computer-guided implantology (flapless, no scalpel)
Guided bone regeneration (GBR) for cases with insufficient bone
Long-term warranty on implant work

In depth

How implantology works, step by step

Every implant procedure is customized. Here are the phases of the standard journey in our studio.

1. Diagnostic visit and treatment plan

The journey begins with an in-depth clinical visit, 3D X-ray examination (CBCT) and analysis of available bone density. In this phase we assess the feasibility of the procedure and discuss the options together — single implant, multiple rehabilitation or All-on-4/All-on-6 for complete arch.

2. Digital planning and guided surgery

For the most complex cases we use 3D planning software that allows us to simulate the procedure before performing it. Guided surgery (flapless) reduces invasiveness, shortening operating times and accelerating healing.

3. Implant insertion

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes an average of 30-60 minutes per single implant. The biocompatible titanium screw is inserted into the bone and covered by temporary healing. In some cases immediate loading is possible: fixed teeth the same day.

4. Osseointegration and definitive crown

In the following 3-6 months the implant fuses with the bone (osseointegration). Once this natural process is complete, the definitive ceramic crown is placed, with shape, color and dimensions identical to the adjacent natural tooth.

For whom is it indicated

Implantology is indicated for the vast majority of adults with one or more missing teeth. There are no upper age limits: what matters is bone quality and general health conditions. In cases of insufficient bone, we resort to guided bone regeneration (GBR) before insertion.

Time, aftercare and warranty

The complete process takes an average of 4-6 months from first visit to final result. After the procedure, slight swelling for 2-3 days is normal. Daily hygiene with interproximal brushes and annual check-ups guarantee a potentially unlimited implant lifespan. Our studio offers written warranty on implant work.

Costs and payment plans: The cost of a single implant including crown varies based on case complexity. We offer detailed and transparent quotes from the first visit, with the possibility of installment payment. Consult our FAQ for answers to the most frequently asked questions about costs.

Everything you want to know about dental implants

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia: you don't feel pain during the procedure. In the following days slight swelling or discomfort is possible, easily managed with common painkillers. Most of our patients report far less discomfort than they expected.

With proper daily hygiene and annual check-ups, a titanium implant can last decades — in many cases a lifetime. The protective crown may need replacement after 15-20 years due to normal wear. In our studio we offer written warranty on implant work.

The vast majority of adults is suitable for implantology, with no upper age limits. What matters is bone quality and general health conditions. If bone is insufficient, we perform guided bone regeneration (GBR) first. Some conditions like uncontrolled diabetes or bisphosphonate therapy require personalized evaluation — which we perform at the first diagnostic visit.

To rehabilitate a complete arch, we use the All-on-4 or All-on-6 technique: 4 or 6 strategically positioned implants are sufficient to support a complete fixed prosthesis. In many cases immediate loading is possible: you leave the office with fixed teeth the same day of the procedure.

The cost varies based on case complexity: single implant, multiple rehabilitation or All-on-4/6 for complete arch. In our studio the quote is always detailed and transparent from the first visit, with no hidden costs. Installment payment is available. Contact us for a personalized plan.

The standard process takes 4-6 months: implant insertion, osseointegration (fusion with bone), then placement of the definitive ceramic crown. In cases suitable for immediate loading — especially for All-on-4 rehabilitations — times are significantly reduced.
